Rapid Fire Turrets are basic turrets that fire bolts at any enemies within range. They are most effective against Support units, such as Medic Droids and Repair Droids, and have preferential targeting against them (the instant a support unit gets in their range they immediately switch targeting to it no matter what else is nearby) so be very careful about the positioning of your support units when going against these turrets. The rapid fire turret takes about 1 minute to complete but at Level 1 has 45 HP, but deals almost 23 HP every shot, these turrets are mainly in or behind walls. This turret may be not be in most bases, but may be strong against most units. In large numbers the Rapid fire turret can destroy almost all strong units when at a high level, but may be destroyed easily.
Strategy[]
You could place them in a circular pattern (in other words, the corners of your layout) to maximize defensive power against support units. Rebels could put them next to Rocket Turrets, to take care of Repair Droids which are used to heal (important) vehicles
